The sizable contribution we have made to fighting the COVID-19 pandemic in India through our We Care initiative has been captured in a new video.

It details how the generosity of our people in the India Business Unit has allowed us to work in partnership with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to deliver 12,500 pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) and more than 3,300 RT-PCR diagnostic kits.

In addition, we have been able to provide nine ventilators to intensive care units across the cities of Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and Dahej. People have also raised fund with matching donation from Company to contribute to National and State Relief Fund.

Employees at our construction sites have volunteered to support local communities with meals, masks and sanitizers across more than 10 states, benefiting 52,000 men, women and children since lockdown started.

The pandemic has caused a crisis among India’s vulnerable. Much of the transport network has shut down and millions of daily wage workers and migrants are losing their livelihoods and facing real challenges in meeting their basic food, hygiene and healthcare needs.

The video is part of our #beatcovidtogether initiative which is organized under the umbrella of our flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in India, Seed Of Hope.
