Routine pile casting work started at the PTA Paradip project in India on August 19. This important milestone was achieved just four months after our contract was awarded.
In April, it was announced that we had secured a significant EPCC contract from Indian Oil Corporation Limited for its Para Xylene (PX) and Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) complex project in Paradip on India’s east coast. The contract covers the delivery of a new 1.2 million tons per year PTA plant and associated facilities. PTA is a raw material used to manufacture polyester fibers, PET bottles, and polyester film used in packaging applications.
Our track record in PTA plants is strong with the completion of 16 projects in Europe, Asia and America.
